Supreme Court

Lewin & Lewin handles efficiently and at reasonable expense all aspects of Supreme Court civil and criminal litigation from the filing of a petition for Supreme Court review (including requests for relief pending consideration by the full Court) through briefing on the merits, oral argument, and, if necessary, motions following disposition of a case.

Drafting of all Supreme Court pleadings and much original research is done personally by Nathan Lewin, who has more than 55 years experience in this highly specialized field. Mr. Lewin has drafted and filed more than 235 briefs in the Supreme Court for parties and friends of the court. He has orally argued 28 cases before the Supreme Court, 16 of them while in private practice.

Research is done by either of the Firm’s partners or by a student law clerk, thereby reducing the cost of briefing.
